While having Christmas brunch with family on Christmas day I first spotted a jet ski on the lake around noon. We usually have ice on the lake by now so this was a rare event in itself! About 15 minutes later I saw a deer swimming across the lake. Then the jet ski comes back, takes a few pictures of the deer and takes off again. The confused deer swam all the way back across the lake out of sight. An hour later we see the deer being followed by a canoe coming back again. They managed to coral the confused deer onto the shoreline. At first it could not even stand and looked injured. After a few minutes of rest in the shallow water the deer got to its feet and looked to be fine. Several of us on the shoreline cheered and clapped and thanked the two men in the canoe for helping the deer back to shore. A Christmas Day on Barron Lake none of us will ever forget! www.youtube.com Music: Kevin Macleod - Second coming
